You must register an account to participate in auctions. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Bidding & Purchases

All bids are binding. Once you place a bid, you are committed to completing the purchase if you are the winning bidder. Velvet Gavel reserves the right to cancel bids or auctions that violate our policies.

5. Fees & Payments

Buyers may be subject to buyer premiums and applicable taxes. All payments are processed through our secure payment partners. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis per our refund policy.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not engage in shill bidding, bid manipulation, fraud, or any activity that undermines the integrity of the auction process. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Limitation of Liability

Velvet Gavel provides the platform “as is” and makes no warranties regarding the items listed. Our liability is limited to the fees collected for the transaction in question.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
